Update for Week of October 16th, 2002
Greetings! I list links that are interest to me currently making news. The links listed are all current the week of that particular Update. If a news story is in all of the mainstream press, I only list MSNBC as the source.

1. Last week, I mentioned Jerry Falwell's comments about the founder of Islam being a terrorist and how the Christian Right in this country is pushing for Armageddon and the 2nd coming of Christ. Now, Mr. Falwell has apologized for any problem he created. His true colors have been revealed by his "60 Minutes" interview as has the whole agenda of the Christian Right and its connection to this administration in a war with Iraq: Click Here.

2. Anti war protests are growing and once again, college campuses and California are at the forefront. This is a story about recent protests in San Francisco and UC-Berkeley. Maybe the 1960's Viet Nam era slogan, "Hell no, we won't go" will be resurrected: Click Here.

You will not hear much about this in this country because most of this has been suppressed, however the Russian publication Pravda (the former mouthpiece of the "old" Soviet Union) has revealed information about cities discovered on the moon. Consider the source, although in this case, this may be more factual about this subject than anything you'll hear in the USA media: Click Here.
