| KLEINER'S KORNER FOR THE WEEKS OF APRIL 25 & MAY 2, 2011
|
QUOTE OF THE WEEK "For two centuries, candidates have run for president. Not one from a major party ever asked a woman to be his running mate — until Walter Mondale. Campaigns, even if you lose them, do serve a purpose. My candidacy has said the days of discrimination are numbered. American women will never be second-class citizens again."
Geraldine Ferraro (1935-2011) In 1984 became the first woman vice presidential candidate on a major U.S. party ticket, died March 26 in Boston. From MSNBC:

1. "AMERICANS ARE PREPARING AT UNPRECEDENTED LEVELS" "It’s becoming apparent to many Americans that depending on our local, state and federal governments in the event of an emergency, catastrophic societal collapse or widespread disaster will not be sufficient to meet the needs of your family. ...
We’ve seen how governments respond to disasters. Recent history in the modern age suggests that there is simply no way to meet the needs of millions of people if a far-from-equilibrium situation were to arise.
Americans spend thousands of dollars per year on insurance for our homes, our cars, our health, our lives, and even our mortgages.
Is it really so crazy to insure ourselves from unforeseen black swans by stockpiling some food, water, supplies and a means to protect them?
The US government is spending billions of dollars to prepare for unlikely events like war, catastrophic collapse of society, and even asteroids – maybe you should consider a little end-of-the-world insurance as well," by Mac Slavo on Activist Post:

2. "SCIENTISTS TELEPORT SCHRODINGER'S CAT" "Researchers from Australia and Japan have successfully teleported wave packets of light, potentially revolutionising quantum communications and computing.
The team, led by researchers at the University of Tokyo, say this is the first-ever teleportation, or transfer, of a particular complex set of quantum information from one point to another.
They say it will make possible high-speed, high-fidelity transmission of large volumes of information, such as quantum encryption keys, via communications networks.
The research appears today in the journal Science.
Professor Elanor Huntington, of the School of Engineering and Information Technology at UNSW's Canberra campus, explains that teleportation - the transfer of quantum information from one location to another using normal, "classical" communications - is a fundamental quantum communication technique," by Carl Holm for ABC (Australia) Science Online.

3. NEWS ON THE HUMAN BODY A. "The Neuroscience of the Gut" "Strange but true: the brain is shaped by bacteria in the digestive tract" "People may advise you to listen to your gut instincts: now research suggests that your gut may have more impact on your thoughts than you ever realized. Scientists from the Karolinska Institute in Sweden and the Genome Institute of Singapore led by Sven Pettersson recently reported in the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences that normal gut flora, the bacteria that inhabit our intestines, have a significant impact on brain development and subsequent adult behavior," by Robert Martone in Scientific American.

| KLEINER'S KORNER FOR THE WEEK OF April 4, 2011
|
To my dear readers the world-over,
Ramtha, The Enlightened One, delivered a message last week to his students that has reverberated throughout the continents. As such, the volume of e-mails I have received has been enormous, the most ever since 9/11. Several of those e-mails disseminated downright misinformation, causing more anxiety and upset for many.
In this Korner, I will be brief and stick to the facts of what is known. There is alot of information on these short links to consider and digest for you and your family. One thing is clear, the "Days to Come" to which Ramtha has often referred since the mid-1980's are at hand, which no one can deny.
Ramtha's message provides knowledge and information on which one can act. He also always shines the light on a path of action that uplifts and brings hope.
May you be moved to prepare and make some changes in your family's lives for the future.
I hope this YouTube video titled The Power of Words changes your perspective on these times and your view, so that each day is a treasure you CAN see:
